To color life. One might say it's a lie, the other that is a case of perception and someone else "whatever you say, but it's a waste of time".
I did this one while in painting class and there was this beautiful painting of some autumn day in some far away country in one of those learning magazines from the 80's... I don't know the name of the painter. I fell in love with it. And I guess I was in one of those days when happyness seems everywhere because my painting turned out like this that you're seeing, completely surreal, nothing like the one I fell for, but then... I fell for this one even more. ................................................... First place in the "Sharing The Magic of Autumn" CONTEST at #Unframed-nature [link]
Thank you all!! ................................................... CORRECTION
I found it! Today I was in my aunt's home and went through the books and magazines I used as reference for my learning and found the name of the painter that did the beautiful painting I talk about in here! Many of you might know him and even recognize it then: Robert Wood. The painting itself is still sold as print in many places and websites, and it's name is "Autumn Glade". It's from 1953. As I haven't found it in the official website, I am posting a link from Amazon: [link]
I really wanted to find this cause I felt bad when people praized me for the choice of colors. As you can see, they are all there, I just overdone it a bit ^^
